The Clinic  Operations Subcommittee is responsible for:
1) Evaluating recommended examination components in terms of participant burden; operationalize approved examination components.
2) Making recommendations to the Steering Committee regarding methods to minimize participant burden and optimize comfort, interest, and satisfaction.
3) Assuring that participant concerns are addressed and ensure maximum participation.
4) In collaboration with the Field Center, Laboratory and Reading Center key personnel, developing methods to train examination staff; planning and executing training for examination procedures; developing procedures for exam technicians to obtain and maintain certification to perform study procedures; and planning and monitoring the pilot study and the examination.
5) Developing the Manual of Operations for clinic operations.
6) In collaboration with the Field Center, Coordinating Center, Laboratory and Reading Center key personnel, developing a system of "alert" values and procedures for providing feedback to and referrals for participants and their health care providers. 
7) Overseeing timely provision of results to participants and their health care providers.
